Default I need an oil pan

Yeah so I just bent the **** out of my oil pan.

I haven't pulled it yet, but it looks like I'm gong to have to get a new one and a new pickup.

Luckily I have the pickup but I need a pan like today. Can anyone help me out??? I don't know if there is a difference between the STi and the WRX pans but I need one for the STi.

Hate to hear that. I have heard that you have to pull the motor to replace the oil pan...

Ok here's the lowdown. I was using the "jacking plate" and a floor jack. It turns out I didn't have the jack in a good location and the car slipped off of the jack and landed on the oil pan

I just removed the pan. You do not need to pull the engine, you just have to remove the exhaust manifold, and jack one side up to remove the 4 bolts from the rear. To actually get the pan off you have to pull the pickup tube with it wich was really simple.

I had damage to my pickup tube, luckily I already had a spare due to my business that I'm trying to start. I am going to try beating the pan flat again. If that doesn't work I may buy your pan.

I will post before and after pics of the pan after I get it all beaten out.

Beat it flat and then weld it if it has any leaks or questionable areas.

No big deal it happens all the time in racing.

Just got it all worked out.

What do you guys think? I haven't had any issues out of it so far other than not having the dip-stick tube fully seated so I lost around 1/2 quart of oil all over my header wrap

Yes I pounded the dent out with a 1/2" wratchet extension. I made a pretty in depth write-up on how to pull and install the oil pan, it's posted in the maintenance/service section here on nasioc.
