Default shifter linkage assembly what works what doesn't what is it?

from what it looks like I'm going ot need a new shifter assembly with would include the stick and the the rods they are conned to I got a 94 L awd convered with no shifter assembly what would work and what wouldn't

That was a very confusing sentance...

But anyhow, if you are trying to put a newer shifter into a 93-66 L you are going to need to convert the linkage for sure. You need not just the linkage but the joint that is pinned to the tranny rod in order to utilize the newer linkage.

yah i'm sorry about that what I want to say is I did a AWD converison to my car using AWD parts from a 94 L and since I'm having a very hard time trying to track down a 94 L shifter assembly I was wondering if I was able to use a newer shifter linkage and. and what is it thats on the tranny I need for the tranny side?
