KnockLink and stock knock sensor
Has anyone hooked up a KnockLink to the stock knock sensor on our cars? If so, where did you tap in the wires. I've got mine tapped in on the wires at the ECU, but the display doesn't change...just shows one green LED.
Thanks.

Yep, tried that too (on an XT6). Didn't work at all. The Knocklink does not have an amplifier per say, it only has an attenuator. So at maximium gain you only get whatever the knocksensor can give. The sensitivity of the sensor is dependent on how it is designed. So with other words, the stock sensor does not give enough of a signal to work with the knocklink. Not only that, but my ECU started throwing CEL immidiately after connecting it.
