I don't run mud flaps but let me tell you i've seen more Civics with that same RA type spoiler than mud flaps.

I'm not advocating for a wing on an STI, I removed mine, but what does AWD have to do with a wing?

Wings are on super high performance cars to counteract the lift generated from the body. If you got an STI up to 160+ the awd wouldn't do a damn thing to keep it on the pavement.
