Seen a red "f" emblem on a forester when I was stationed in Okinawa. Where could I find one, maybe 2 of those?

I am running BC-BR coilovers from a 2008+ WRX. I got a deal on them lightly used. I pretty much just was waiting and waiting and waiting and then I found a deal that I really liked. I think they are about 999~ new. Anything from an 08+ WRX will work, so you could do a stock strut swap.

Stock 02-03 WRX suspension, with rear saggy butt spcaers (1" kit from paranoid fabrications) and re-use of your rear tophats will give you about a ~3" drop over stock, with like a 2 inch wheel gap. This is how mine looked on 2002 WRX (stock) suspension with 1" rear saggy butt spacers Ok so.... Do this same drop with lowering springs (replaced in kind) and you will get about a ~4 inch drop, basically so your wheels sit flush with the fenders, with practical ride height still to spare... And this is the result of the drop... Im lowered on 2002 WRX sedan struts (new-ish) with Tanabe GF210 lowering springs meant for the same year (02 WRX). Their progressive so the ride is actually softer for normal bumps, but a tad harsh on really bad bumps (which is expected) |

Hey Forester owners
Have any of you guys ever planned to do a retrofit on the newer models like the SH's (09-11)? I just purchased a brand new 2011 Touring Trim and was planning to do pay for a retrofit on the headlights. Do you guys think it's worth the money or should I just switch out to brighter bulbs? Thanks in advance. Matt |
