What exact map are you attempting to download? I can double check that there isn't a problem with the site. I checked a few for 06 WRX MT and they appear fine.

When you install the version 2 AccessPORT, it will bring up the basic stage 1/2 maps for your car as you are installing. Of course, the AccessPORT would have to be unmarried (i.e. uninstalled) from the 07 STi before you could install it on your 06 WRX. You can go to "AccessPORT" -> "About" and look at the installed state to make sure the AccessPORT has been uninstalled before you attempt your install.

Thanks guys but i figured it out. I had to save it instead of opening it then had to search maps in the access port manager and transfer it to the ap. also he to update the firmware to the latest one in order for the ap to read it while installing to car.

The only intakes approved with the particular maps for your car are the stock intake or Cobb SF intake. Any other intakes will likely require a custom tune to verify accurate airflow/load and therefore accurate fueling and timing.
