Poured water on it because there were ants crawling on the exterior and the touchless carwash was closed.

I took off the side skirts, pulled back my rear wheel liners and flushed out all the road grit from the past 13 years at the front and rear wheel well drains. I was greeted with rot above the inner rockers at the rear wheel wells, in front of the wheels. Luckily it didn't really infect the rockers themselves, so now there's just no longer a piece of metal separating the wheel well and the inside of the rocker. Shouldn't be a problem if I just get in there and flush it all out again in a year.

After chipping out the shale, wire brushing and flushing, I doused everything I could reach with Rust Reformer.

Installed Whiteline steering rack bushings on the bugeye. The original where still in one piece but they must have deflected a good amount because I feel a significant improvement in steering response.
