What kind of fitment are you looking for? Do you want to roll fenders or have a nice semi flush fitment without rolling fenders?

The Enkei RS05RR will require spacers to clear the STI Brembos.

We have a set of Volk Racing 18x9.5 +45 CE28SL that clears the STI Brembos available. Face 3 Concave. This pic shows the older sti with smaller brakes. But Rays confirmed it will work over the 18 STI larger 6pot.

Looking for 18x9.5 +38. I was eyeing the SSR gtv02 but it’s too flat faced for me and it’s +45. I don’t want to run their 19x9.5 +38.

Oh yes I'm sorry, you're right. I totally glazed over the fact that they were different.

What about the new RN55M from WedsSports. It comes in 18x9.5 +38 with concave spokes.

I'd like to see some of the new Enkei TFR's mounted, if anyone has seen a pic. These were stated earlier in this thread to fit, and come in 19 with a 35 or 45 offset.

Hi, you can add Work Emotion M8R 18x9.5 +38 to confirmed fitment.

We have a set of 18x8.5 JDM STi Spec C Type RA-R wheels available , these cars came equipped with 6 pot Brembos so they will clear the 2018 STI 6 pots.

I don't know if you can automatically assume that.
Unless it's been actually fitted on a 18 STi, I wouldn't say it would fit just because both are 6pots.
Different rotor sizes, the amount the aluminum hat protrudes on that 2pc rotor vs. the '18 STi's 1pc rotor, etc...

I mean, there are wheels I've seen on this thread that fit on a '18 STi, but won't fit my car that has a 6pot Brembo GT kit.

I guess this may be a bad assumption, but here it goes:

The 2015-2017 STI/WRX 18" wheels fit the 2019.
The 2018 19" wheels do not fit the 2015-2017 STI.
So, do the 19"s not fit because of the spoke design? Or do they not fit because the 6 pot caliper has a slimmer design?

If the 6 pot Brembos have a slimmer profile, does that mean that *most* 18" wheels that fit earlier STI's will fit the 2018? I know the rotor is quite a bit larger, as is the caliper, so very few 17"s fit, and the barrel of the rim could be an issue on some 18" wheels as well.

Hey guys
What is the opinion or consensus on running 19x10 wheels?
I know this is the 2018 thread but I like the look and was thinking about running on my 2017

The 6-pot calipers are similar size/thickness to the Brembo 4-pots, but they are farther out from the hub than the 4-pots. The new wheels don't fit on the old calipers because the spokes slope in to occupy part of the space where the four-pot calipers fit.

Default Use your stock rims!

You can always use stock rims with a set of all weather tires. Then get summer wheels with summer tires once that season hits!

ALL the previous 18" STI wheel designs will fit over the 6-pot Brembos.

The proper tire size for a 10" wheel is 285mm wide, and there's pretty much no way a 285 tire is going to fit on a stock-fendered car. Therefore, it's needlessly wide. If it was high enough offset you could maybe run a 275. Something like +50 might do it. Otherwise, it's going to stick out and/or you're going to have to stretch the tire to make the tire fit under the fender. In that case you might as well just run a narrower wheel to save weight/cost.

I fitted up a 265/30R19 on a +38 19x10 Linea Corse 818. That looked great but the tire was pretty stretched and the tire fitment was so close I was worried to drive it.

Ooo, I do love the way it looks, though.
