Big update to the car! Always wanted a big brake kit and this Rotora 6/4 pot setup definitely delivered! Be sure to check out the install video on my channel. Lots more to come!

NICE!!! Was wondering when you were going to tackle the OEM brake setup. Interesting they aren't monoblock though. Are these of your own purchase or sponsored?

Monoblocks are literally twice the price. For what this car is used for, mono's were just over the top. Would be awesome to have a set, but honestly would be so overkill.

No sponsors here. The only true sponsorship that I have is Grimspeed. But even so, it's not free. Everything else I purchase on my own dime as the normal rates that everyone else pays. Some help here and there, but it's rather rare to get full sponsorships these days unless you have a massive following.

Jeez man, more power to you since this is all on your own dime. Did you happen to search for OEM calipers from a 2018+ wrecked STI? I know I would definitely go that route. I know on my 05' I was not impressed with the 4 piston Brembos, when Subaru switched to 6 Piston I was super happy.

With regards to the monoblocks, I know Spoon Monoblocks for a S2K are money!!

Anyway, very excited to see what you have to say about these.

Of course I looked into the 18+ STI brembos. However, I am not crazy about the acid green color and would get them powder coated. Plus buying a used set scares me since your life is literally on the line with brakes. Yes they can be rebuilt, but it would keep me up at night.

The 6 pot up front is nice, but the rears were still 2 pot. The ones I got are 6 pot front and 4 pot rear. The rears on mine are larger than the 18+ fronts. It fills out the wheel much better on mine and prefer the look.

Do I need all that braking power for what I use the car for? Absolutely not, but I told myself if I was going to redo the brakes, I would do it right.

I've been following this build on youtube for a while now. Much respect for putting together such an awesome car, all while raising a family with 3 little ones.

Those calipers look great! Definitely fills out the wheels, and I'm a huge fan of the silver.
