Default ISO powdercoater in S. Central CT or Naugatuck Valley Area

Have found one painting company who quoted me $700 for seven parts from my suspension. The three new primary TSS Fab subframes and smaller parts like trailing arms. Five bare parts and two sway bars that must be blasted.

Does $700 sound fair? He wants to media blast everything regardless of whether it's clean bare metal or not. Is that needed or the only reliable option for having powder coat stick/be durable?
Who can you recommend who is near New Haven, Danbury, Hartford, Bridgeport, Branford, Wallingford. All these areas are within range for me.

A1 chrome and polishing in newington. Tell them I referred you. We do sandblast every part to allow the powder to stick better.

My buddy had a few items for his Buick done at Competitive Edge - said they came out great and were reasonably priced:

I found Niklyn corp. in North Haven. Talk to Bruno Surachi, the owner/manager. Very fair pricing and one week or less turnaround is the norm.
Can do small to huge parts. Used far less powder than others said would be needed. Blasted and primed the parts.
A little hard to find. They are in the back of a huge industrial building. Signage was not good. Ask for directions.

Prestige Industrial Finishing in Shelton do powdercoating as well. Have not personally used them.

Parts have to be properly prepped or the process will be flawed.

How did your parts turn out.??

Just OK. Thick in places, thin in other places and I'm not convinced that they were properly prepped and primed.
The biggest issue, since I used them twice, was they did not deliver on time. A week or more late. Not very professional in the way they ran things.
Not a single piece of paper in the two transactions. Cash... The cheap prices probably should have concerned me.
I hear Shoreline Coatings is good.
