2005 WRX Aisin Timing Belt Kit
Can anyone confirm that the Aisin TKF-004 kit will fit a 2005 WRX EJ205?
I see it listed at both Rockauto and Partcat for the car but it also just shows "impreza" neither site specifies base model, WRX, or STI. Amazon shows this as not fitting my car but also does not show a Aisin kit that does fit. I can not find anything on any Aisin website that says any of their kits fit any Subaru, yet I have seen a bunch of posts on here saying they used Aisin. If this is not the right kit a pointer in the right direction would be great. Thanks in advance.

I have an 05 WRX as well, and I used the Aisin TKF004 kit. The instructions that came with it were for a 2.5 but that's just because the process is the same.
Don't make the same mistake that I did... check the kit before you start the install process. Halfway through the install I realized that the kit was missing a pulley. They reimbursed it but my car was down for a week |
