You'll spend about the same money trying to get a 700 whp Subaru, but the hellcat has a warranty and won't blow up.
Except RWD, makes it a bitch to control. AWD all day for high powered builds

I was going to suggest that it would likely be cheaper, and more reliable, to just install AWD into his old Mustang.

Our dyno is the lowest reading of the low reading. 575 whp on our dyno goes 9.7 at 146. I've seen people from a dyno jet not to far from us put down 550 and go 11.7 at 121.

Everyone has their way and route
Another would be finding my build thread, although the turbo I'm on should be good for well over 700.
A 6466 would pry be the best turbo for a clean 700.

Id set more of a trap goal because you will always have someone come in here and argue that on their dyno 550whp traps 146 around x weight, sounds super unrealistic to me but hay what ever.

Trap speeds are highly dependent on density altitude. 100mph car here could be a 112 mph car at Cecil or Atco.

If the op wants to numberhunt it really doesn't matter what number he hunts for.

-Start thread in PPB

True but it is at least a better way to show actual real world performance.

700 WHP what do i need?
you need a much more realistic goal

odds are you wouldn't get much use out of a 700whp car

Oh man are they heart breakers for number seekers.

Airboy in Calagry Alberta has one. STI's with ELH, Downpipes, intakes and what not usually barely crack 270whp. Buddy had a DOM2.5XTR made 370whp and was trapping 119-120 here.

Typically for us 400 whp will trap 120.

Stop being stubborn and use a correction factor. Everyone who has dyno'ed there has to explain their short e-peen

We are just finishing up a 500 whp build on a 2005 STI. Here's the list:

TiC Closed deck Honey Badger Short Block
Kurt Brown ported heads
GSC Springs
+1mm Ferrea Valves
Tomei custom cams
GTX3582 with 1.06 hotside
APS FMIC
Custom piping
EJ255 plastic intake manifold
Accessport tuning
ID1300 injectors
E65 fuel

This will be reliable if treated well and maintained properly. Not simple or cheap to build though.

Strange

400whp gets you 120s, 575 gets you 146mph? 175whp picks up 26mph? I do a little drag racing and I would say we are not comparing 2 like cars.
What kind of car made 575 and trapped 146mph? I would assume it wasn't a subaru or if it was, its a GC/Light weight with good gearing.
600whp dynojet has netted me low [email protected] but I know its not a good comparison for how the dyno reads. 750s has actually netted me mid 8s at 160mph, but again I know that is not a good indicator of how the dyno reads being that the car is 800lbs lighter then any customers car would be and is geared for going fast. I would be misleading them if I told them at 700whp they would go 8s or 600 would net them low 9s.

As for the id1000s/Id1300s thing.

No way in hell someone is maxing out id1000s with dual pumps at 420whp on 93oct on any dyno. Fuel SUPPLY issue or you are running like 25psi base pressure.
Id1300s will make 600whp DYNOJET with 55psi and 1 rewired 485 ON E85.
