![]() What’s up guys. I bought a ej207 v8 ecu. The description did not specify it as being immobilized but I’m suspicious that it might be. I bought it before finishing my engine build so I won’t be installing it for awhile and I wanna know for sure that it is not immobilized. How can I tell? Can I plug it into my 2003 wrx and see if the car will turn on or something?
My fear is when I get the engine in don’t want to just be finding out it’s immobilized and not be able to return it you know? Thanks In advance! |

![]() Throw it in your car and start it! It won't start or stay running if it's immobilized. Tried this with mine to make sure. Check engine light will be on bc no avcs. Won't hurt anything to start the car, just don't drive it.
