Default After new turbo install, feels like fuel cut-off at 7psi....

I dont think its the restrictor pill. I followed this diagram when putting all my vacuum lines back together. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...estrictor+pill

I have everything in the right location, like the diagram.

I installed an FP 18g, 680injectors, 255 Walbro, and an SS Auto FMIC. Along with my already installed TBE and Uppipe.

I got a basemap from XXChris. I am babying the car but one time going up a hill on the highway, I gave it a little gas and right at .5 bar it felt like I hit fuel cut. Car had no more go in it. I thought maybe I connected some vacuum lines wrong with the turbo, but, after taking everything off, that wasnt the problem. I cant take any pics tonight, but, I will tomorrow. Can anyone think of what else it could be?

Another thing is I had done the 3/16th mod, but, didnt like the results. (This was a few years ago). I lost the stock connector which I believe is 1/8th. Anyways, right now I have a 5/32 connector in place of the 1/8th. I dont think this is the problem either, I havent had a problem since putting it in, Its only 1/32 bigger than the 1/8. Idk, I will stop by Subaru tomorrow and see if I can get a stock one.

Anyone?

No, no leaks.... I have one more thing to add that I just thought that might be the problem. On the new turbo, the wastegate needle (where the hose attaches) is facing a different direction than the stock one was. And the hose was cut to fit. I had to move some of the locations of the hoses and I think maybe the line with the restrictor in it is pinched. If the line was pinched, would I still only be getting wastegate boost?

im not following, if it feels like your hitting fuel cut everytime you hit a certain psi, how are you getting into restrictor pills and that stuff?

are you saying it wont go past 7psi, or at 7psi you get fuel cut?

At 7psi, my car starts stuttering and backing off. Its not just like my boost is maxing out at 7psi. Its weird.

Is it possible to turn the nipple around on the wastegate so that its facing the other direction? or is it stuck where it is?

Haha, I remember one time I just swapped my catback with another one and didn't reset my ECU. I jumped on the freeway and right at about 7-8 lbs of boost the car just dropped power. I literally could not boost more than 7#, and the car had no power! I got out of the car, disconnected the battery, stepped on the brake a few times, and hooked the battery back up. Started her back up and immediately went back to hitting 17#. Not too sure if resetting the ECU will take care of your problem, but your story brought back some memories.......i was like WTF !
