i've hard the 03 has it,

can it be fitted on to the 02?

Ryan, fromIrvine Subaru is working on it as well as the rear deck trim WITHOUT the third brake light hole for those that have the spoiler mounted light.

He is just waiting for the new parts book from Subaru and imagine that the first couple of orders COULD be back ordered from Japan.

Sweet, as soon as he has it done I will be the first to send in the money for it. I feel like a fool at night when I have to struggle with finding the damn ignition switch.

you can always stick 3 small LED inside the steering colum, there's a gap between the ignition module and the colum cover (fitment issue kinda gap)

just make sure you tap the dome light power so it turns off when the dome light is off

I am under the impression that it is an entire new rear deck...hence no plastic lump, just flat carpet.
