I don't think anything is wrong just because it's been hot.
When your intake manifold temps get hot your car tries to reduce timing so in turn you get less boost. ECU likes cold air for boost. What are you intake manifold temps looking like? I have a FMIC and a water/meth kit so when it's hot I start spraying at 5psi boost and it cools my intake temps so much and I see the boost come back even right after sitting in traffic a lot lol. The problem I had was the one way check valve for my IAG air oil separator broke and the return line was full of sludge. Had to replace the check valve and clean out the line. When it starts to get cold here again I'm gonna make sure the car have been at temp for 30min before getting on it because before I waited until coolant was at 190f and oil was at 185f and the aos lines need longer to heat up. |
