![]() Hey all
Hopefully this doesn't seem silly I am just wondering if it is possible? I have always loved the styling of the Mk4 Supra center console/dash how it faces towards the driver. Another reason I like it is the ability to mount gauges along the side of the dash in the middle. Just wondering if there is any way to modify our dash etc to be more like the Supra? If not, sorry for this silly question. |

![]() Definitely possible, it would take fabwork to either make it out of fiberglass or wood as well as extending the wiring to your head unit, hazard switch and such would be easy enough. But there would definitely be a couple challenges in terms of the shift linkage as well as the HVAC controls for your car are controlled by cables to the blower motor & heater core. Turning it on an angle may mess up it's geometry and make the dials hard to use.
Not really something an amateur would take on without prior fabrication experience. Judging by the nature and tone of your question, it may be more cost than what you'd end up with. |
