yes, Storm had some he ordered. pm him and see if he still has any. they are about $100 and should bump your CR by about 0.5 or 1.0 (can't remember exactly)
they are by cometic, you are correct. look in the classifieds too, i'm pretty sure someone there had an extra set. |

The phase one head gaskets are .060" thick, with the phase two at .020".
The cometic are .040" or .051", using either of these will raise your compression, change your cam timing and possibly result in a piston to head collision. Be carefull, everything comes at a cost Quirt Crawford www.crawfordperformance.com |

I'd used sti headgaskets on mine, there twice as much money, and messure a little thinner. I went into my engine later on to put new pistons in it, and those sti gaskets compress to the same as the stockers. DON'T waste your time with this issue, its not worth it. I've had a rod bearing spin and just the little bit of space the bearing made cause the piston to slap the head. There's not much room for error when your playing around with your different gaskets.
Just put whats recommended by subaru! -mike |

My numbers show a phase I gasket at .152 and phase II at .058
I have the .027 Cometics in my car, and no piston to valve clearance issues. The important thing is you don't go with a thin HG on a phase I engine where the pistons clear the deck... |
