Default What exhaust do you have?

I am interested in finding out what exhaust you guys are running. I have been putting off buying one since 98 fearing my anal self and the fact that I wouldn't be happy with the unit I purchase. Soooo what are your oppinions?

Well, I guess I'll go first and tell you what you probably are most going to hear.

Drumroll please.................

Stromung Dual tip.
It's probably the main exhaust of choice for the 2.5RS, at least in the Mid-A.

I'm sort of anti-Stromung. I have been thinking of doing a custom setup with either a Scorpion or Magnex

Or going the easy/cheap route and getting a Greddy or Borla

Talking

Rallispec N1 and 2.5" dia piping. Very loud, but I like it that way.
BTW no resonator, nothing but pipe and muffler

Stromung single tip and 2.5" midpipe. Lots of rust though. It is about a year old. I too will be going stainless after this one. Wish I had spent the extra $100 before.

Rallispec 2.25" stainless. It's nice and quiet with the resonator. Good luck finding one now, though.

I'm wondering the same thing Chris. I might be making some investments here pretty soon. Good to see you today buddy. By the way Chris, where the hell do you park down there? I was just wondering cause it sucks to pay 11 bucks to park for two hours. Thanks again man.

Mufflers, the scourge of fine engines!

Does a P51D Mustang with a RR Merlin V12 use mufflers? NO!

Hat das 1800Hp ME109 Mit Eingespritz und eine kompressor auspuff gehabben? DAS IST VERBOTEN!

SO why the hell would you put a muffler on our fine machines?

3 inch open from the turbo to the tail.

Default Scott's isn't that loud

if I were running turbo, I'd probably run 3" all the way too. It really isn't all that loud. I followed Scott for quite a while on the Skyline trip, and his didn't seem to stand out soundwise. Well, at least not too much, a little upon acceleration. I actually liked it.
