Flat black looked really good on your car, if anything do a black chrome to match your lights.

DIY fins? Eh!?!
The black wheels are hard to see in pictures and I do like them . There isn't anywhere locally that would do the black chrome as how I see it in my head so... I'll probably just need to buy new wheels so something. |

Vehicle:2008 Scion xD Hot Lava |
Hello everyone, first post here...New to the forum's but not new to forum's in general...I have been a long time Scion owner and have been modding them since 2005...I currently own a 2008 Scion xD RS1 Edition and my wife drives a 2010 Scion xB2 RS7 Edition...Both are modded, mine more than hers ...Anyways, my dream car has always been the 02-03 "bugeye" WRX but somehow I never let it happen...Well, being 42 years old and having many diffrenent cars over the years and (3) different Scions since 2005, the time has finally come for me to buy my dream car...
I have been reading these boards nightly and trying to learn as much as possible (still a noob when it comes to Subies) but I'm trying...Ask me anything about a Scion and I can answer it though ... Today I sat down and read through all 127 pages of this thread and now I am really inspired...I have seen some really sick bug's and now I'm even more excited and can't wait to start looking for my own...Which brings me to this: What should I look for when shopping for a used bug besides the obvious, ie; carfax, visual...During my learing, I see that timing belts and water pumps seem to be an issue at around 100k miles...I also notice possible problems with the tranny's in the 02's? If you want, PM these answers, that would be great...I have a buyer for my car and I'm just waiting till he sells his...Hopefully it wont be long... Here are a few pics of my xD and my wife's xB to kinda show where I come from...I will be getting away from the "show" and looking more towards the "go"... Thanks for viewing... |

Good luck with your future bugeye Yelosub! I also switched from the scion scene to a bugeye early this past spring and my wife also drives a 2010 xB. Nice little coincidence.
