Default Plans for registration and GA tag

I have my documents and strategy ready -

T-22B (GA law officer inspection form for verification of car's serial plate)
My GA drivers license
Insurance card

I do not plan to title the car. Just like older cars (60's and older) that do not require a title in GA to register, this car is listed as a 1962 Lotus 7 Replica, manufactured by MMW. (Matrix Motor Werks, Inc.)

I will take the above items to my local tag office and request an ANTIQUE PLATE for a 1962 MMW Lotus 7.

As a backup if needed, I will also be armed with a Bill of Sale and my MCO (manufacturer certificate of origin), pictures of the car and pictures of other Lotus 7 cars.

My insurance company that provides coverage for my 1968 Camaro confirmed they would insure the TR42. I think I know a local law enforcement officer that will complete the T-22B.

Hopefully I can attempt this plan within the next few weeks.

Talked to John yesterday. He'd gone through some struggles adapting the wiring for the motorcycle handlebar control I sourced (so I could have an all-in-one hi/low, turn signal, horn controller that was water tight).

I won't have amber running lights in the front because the fancy Italian Rizoma Track 77 LED signal lights (used on all 4 corners) are not designed for two brightness settings - just on or off. At the rear he'll be able to set the LED tail lights to function as running/brake lights. I really don't think there is a requirement to have front running lights. If it comes to be that I need them I guess they can always be added later.

I'm chomping at the bit but I know it will get done when it gets done.

I'll be at a McGard trade show in Huntington, WV during that race weekend but I sure would like to see my car finished before then too!

Default Exhaust

John has the exhaust welded up. I'll get the car running and dyno'd before I have the exhaust sent out for ceramic coating.

Default Cobb AccessPort

Taking my Cobb AP to John's tomorrow to see if we can figure out how to download the map that Ryan Moore sent me to get this thing running. Then Scott Siegel has agreed to do the tune.

OMG it feels so close to being finished! I feel like I've been watching this thread for ages! I'm not even invested in it. Got to be exciting.

Going to John's tomorrow to help work on my car. We're to add coolant and get the engine up to running temps and then change the oil/filter.

Plus there is still a list of items needed to button up everything. Some wiring. Get the speedo/tach set up. Check all the bolts/nuts. Plus anything else forgotten.

I'll try to get a couple more videos posted up.

I wanted to go ahead and install a 3" Car Chemistry insert into the race muffler because I thought the sound of the exhaust from John's start up video would be too much for the street. John said I need to hear it in person first.
