And if you leave your fab and or card at home and rely solely on the app, then what?

If the app has an error it will still work as a Bluetooth key.

Well, it seems as if the issue was widespread enough to get attention. Not sure what else to tell you.

I didn't experience any problem with it, but I do carry the key card in my wallet just in case there are problems.

are you ready for a single source and cost with no or little competition for you transportation ? The involved people still out there and profits are big motivation. Did everyone in CA forget the fake brown outs and shut down to raise costs ?

Only if you have phone-as-key turned on already, but I'm sure you knew that.

Not the Taycan factory Don't bother him, he's doing genius things, changing the world in that tent - and working at least 400 hrs a week.

^So, when you understand, at best, half of my arguments/rationale, have been destroyed countless times publicly, and can't even concede what is self-evident in a simple photo, how can you hold the party line and remain credible at all?

How is it that you don't question any of your beliefs, opinions, positions? Especially when you can't understand something, shouldn't you at least consider the thoughts from those who do understand?

This is all I've been after from the very beginning - I am only making money off of Etron and idiot Teslans because you dared me to do so. Tesla is just the auto example of what needs to be cured.

Everyone thinks the way biz-school is taught now - oh no, can't concede that water is wet, because 9 levels down the line it will lead to a 0.17% reduction in salt consumption, and we're selling salt. When society was (more) honest, a few overzealous beancounters didn't ruin the soup, but when everyone embraces this type of thinking, it becomes detrimental to society. Adamant dishonesty becomes the norm...

What do you get from the foto? that it looks messy? Have you been to other car manufacturer facilities? I live next to the largest BMW facility in the world and many of my friends and a family member work there; I been inside their facility. The stories about waste and crazy stuff that goes in there are not even funny. We also have GE nearby and from what I heard they have large warehouse with million and millions of "scrap" trying to hide it from the books.

I just know that the model 3 is a good car and everyone that I take for a ride wants one.

Here is my Model 3 one year update. I am at 10,792 miles so far the issues that I had is the rattle near the driver passenger side seat belt that I mentioned before which was fixed by the Tesla mobile service. And condensation on my passenger side tail light that was replaced by Tesla mobile service at my home. In both case the issues were fixed quickly and at no cost.

From when I bought the car to today it has evolved a lot. Now I have more power, more features like sentry mode, dog mode and games. Safety upgrades like LDA and improvements to uptopilot. I can't wait for the upcoming updates and maybe a Model Y for the wife.

^You addressed nothing in my post other than the photo, which is self-evident and ancillary to anything important (I've done Porsche EU delivery twice - which is why the photo was hilarious to me). Come to think of it, I actually remember the Tesla facility when it used to produce the ICE Camry - water is wet.

I'd prefer the philosophical discussion as it's actually important - can you answer the simple questions I posed previously? How to establish/maintain credibility when failing to question beliefs/opinions in the face of overwhelming data from those with objective credentials superior to your own? i.e. how to justify cognitive dissonance?

Why did you just use GE in defense of waste from Tesla? GE probably has cooked books, will go bankrupt and sold off in pieces. Not a smart comparison IMO.

Also, we guessed it! Tesla will use your driving record, if allowed to price its insurance. How about a giant **** that!

Penis volume, obviously. If female, use the penis volume of the BF/Husband who pays the insurance.

Only one-sided discussions here, so we return to the regularly scheduled episode of, Owe My Balls!

Currently Tesla will use your driving record age and other standard auto insurance pricing stats.

I think what godfather2112 was getting at is that Tesla will also use individual owners/drivers data on a state-by-state basis and opt in basis. Progressive (or is it all state?) does something similar with an OBD-II dongle, on an opt in basis.
Tesla's data collection would be broader reaching and undefeatable on a temporary basis (eg. unplug the dongle for track days) since it logs everything all the time as well as video from the cameras.

I personally wouldn't opt-in to any of that BS for my auto insurance; rates would go up even if I had a Honda Fit/Toyota Yaris for a DD; actually especially if I drove something like that, because my time at WOT would be just about 100% of the time I drove it.

Care By Volvo subscription service already does this I think. Not sure the details of it though and how it treats the laws and protections in each state vs. Tesla's subscription. The point is premium brands are already offering this type of thing assuming top tier credit lessees also have stellar driving records.
