Default Adding more lumbar support to 2016 Limited Seats?

Did some searching and haven't found much about modifying the 2016 seats. Love the seats but they seem to be killing my back, I've had the car for a week and suddenly have developed a mysterious back pain/fatigue and headaches by the end of the day. My commute is only 15 minutes each way so... yeah, I need to do something with these seats. For now I'll be getting a lumbar pillow to drive with, but would really like something more permanent that retains the look of the otherwise beautiful leather seats.

Is it just a matter of unzipping them and adding more foam in the lumbar region? Really wish these had adjustable lumbar... the lack of it was honestly one of the things that made me heavily consider the GTI.

Not the answer you're looking for, but Redline Goods makes this: http://www.redlinegoods.com/LumbarPads.php. I bought one for my '04; I have a bad back and need lumbar support. I picked up the teardrop version. You can order them in any color or type of leather you like, colored stitching, piping, etc.

Looks way better than the ratty lumbar pad I replaced.

Yes, it is just a matter of unzipping and adding padding and / or adjusting the springs in the seat.

I did as "jebjkey" suggested. My wife complained that the seats in our 2016 WRX hurt her lower back and hips and needed more support in the lumbar region. After experimenting with letting her try several thicknesses of some 1/4" thick dense foam, I had lying around, I found a combination that she liked. There is a YouTube video, sorry don't have the link, of a guy who shows you how to unzip the Subaru seats. I placed the foam between the seat cushion and the wire frame in the back. It took me about 20 minutes.

Anyone else have input or tried this? I've played around with adding foam to my seats and I haven't gotten the seats to be comfortable yet on my 19 limited.
