Default The new Fiat Panda Van has arrived

AUTOMOTIVE NEWS FROM THE OFFICIAL SOURCES
The new Fiat Panda Van has arrived

Wednesday, July 18, 2012

• Compact external dimensions and a load compartment at the top of its category: approx. 1 m? volume and over 1.2 metres max. internal length
• It introduces the brand new, innovative “easy floor” platform which eliminates any difference in height between the load compartment and the lower edge of the tailgate, thus facilitating loading operations
• Available with front wheel drive, two trim levels (Pop and Easy) and two engines (69 HP 1.2 and 1.3 MultiJet 75 HP). Prices start from 8,850 euro (before tax)
• Also making its debut is Fiat Professional’s new “Van” logo created by Fiat Centro Stile
To meet urban goods transport needs, Fiat Professional presents the new Panda Van – following on from the best seller of segment 1A of Car-Derived Vans – which combines car-standard performance, handling and comfort with great load capacity and ease of loading, in addition to the reliability and low running costs typical of a commercial vehicle.
Built at the Gianbattista Vico plant at Pomigliano d’Arco in Naples, the most compact commercial vehicle by Fiat Professional is the ideal solution for those who spend a lot of time travelling and have to make deliveries, such as postal services, maintenance workers, service companies, tradesmen, etc.

Where's the "VAN"? Something got lost in translation from italian to english. That's a freaking 5 door hatch.

Now the fiat DOBLO, that can be a VAN, just needs sliding doors.

When I saw the title, "New Fiat Panda Van", I was all excited. I thought Fiat built a van to transport Panda bears from zoo to zoo. Its clearly not.
My bad.
