I was originally going to use 2004 STi bbs rims or factory 2011 wrx enkei's for winter but then I found found these with tires on craigslist and then sold the tires for more than I paid for both haha. New tires are so much cheaper for 16" rims compared to the lower profile 17" rims and they perform better in winter since they have a bigger sidewall and their not as wide.

As for looks, in person the car doesn't look as aggressive with small wheels. personally I like them but alot of my people hate on them... that is until they need a ride lol

For OEM wheels that fit our car this is my preference based on looks:
  1. 2011 WRX
  2. 2004 STI BBS
  3. 2002 WRX
  4. Everything else
If you factor in weight, then it's the BBS. But if you factor in cost, then the 2002 WRX wheels are very appealing. I think they look good and the age and size keeps the costs down.

I like them, but I like the 2011 WRX look better.

Got my wheels back from powder coat! Heres some quick pics. I'm very happy with the results. Still have to finish the hub caps.

Also put done carbon vinyl up front

Try adjusting highlights and shadows, brightness and contrast, and I like to sharpen 1x.

I was jealous of the STI guys, so even though this one doesn't light up I wanted something to fill the blank space.

I bought some sample pieces of red vinyl from eBay. Printed out the logo 3" wide and cut it out by hand. Took some time to line it up and center it but I think it came out really great!
