Well that's pointless(the TT) we could post pictures of orange cars all day.

I thought the other pictures of the Beams edition was more of a metallic orange. I Like the metallic shots better.

I don't get it. The color and interior is cool but what is BEAMS?

A WRX or STi one would be sick.

BEAMS EYE

BEAMS has been moving ahead with the concept “changing the culture and custom of Japan's youth” since its establishment in 1976.

Today, fashion is no longer limited to what we wear but has come to encompass all aspects of daily life. Fashion business has ceased to merely purvey products but become a mediator of information on goods, conveying satisfaction and comfort. In such stream, BEAMS has been the “mirror of time” having gone through some changes. BEAMS has succeeded to build up the deep-seated trust of its customers by suggesting a clear vision through the range of products selected by its essential quality and right sense of value.

Recently, customers who frequented BEAMS when it had just opened have begun patronizing the store along with their children. This trust that two generations of customers now place in us makes us believe that our goal of becoming the favored store of a new generation has come some way toward fruition. What’s waiting for us in future is that the time when Tokyo becomes a focal pint where new trends and styles emerge and are dispersed to the rest of the world. In such time, what is the most important characteristic of BEAMS is the discerning eye which selects an infant idea and develops into great trend and the flexibility which compiles the idea crossing borders, genres and generations. Yet what is common to each characteristic of BEAMS is “a simple and frank obsessiveness” that suits a day-to-day lifestyle.

Each generation seeks out what’s fresh, what’s comfortable, what moves, what’s me. BEAMS will continue to provide the stuff of dreams, the materials that bring you joy and still fit comfortable into the space and time of your daily life. We always want to get excited and want to share the excitement with our customers. For those who want to sing the praises of a fulfilling daily lifestyle, we will lay down the rules (styles) for a new generation that isn’t fettered by tradition and doesn’t cater to prestige. This is the mission that BEAMS must play from here on. Keeping watch on our times with attentive but discerning eyes, we aim to become a primary force in the birth of a new lifestyle, a new way to live.

beams makes trendy chicks clothing. I walked into the beams store in Kashiwa once called "beams boy" but it was all young womens clothing. Kinda reminded me of urban outfitters.

I think the model is targeted at young trendy women...

I like them... you know, sisal floor mats used to be all the rage.. and I think they're a major step down from the Beams floor mats.

This is a car that will obviously not be marketed outside of Japan. Beams is a clothing lifestyle accessories company. This car might be looked at as a sort of "L. L. Bean" (no relation!) type trim level that we have here, but for Japan.

I like it! Kinda cool.
