Default 2015 WRX transmission into older WRX

Out of curiosity, will the 6 speed from the new WRX fit into a bugeye or older wrx in general. Just want to know if it'll work. Thanks

It's smaller than the STI 6 speed and shares the same bellhousing pattern, and front axle location. Anything you can fit a STI 6 speed in, you can fit a WRX 6 speed in.

Bringing this back from the dead. Still considering this as an option.

Found out that the rear diff is a 4.11, maybe we can do an older impreza 4.11 rear diff to be able to still use the wrx rear axles and to compensate for the 5x100 hubs.
