just to let you know, I got this flywheel and they had to chop off part of the flywheel bolts because they protruded and hit the clutch. it won't fit without modifying the flywheel bolts.

it has nothing to do with the thickness of the flywheel. the issue is the distance between the surface where the bolts sit vs. the surface where the flywheel and clutch make contact. on the toda, that distance is reduced, so the head of bolts contact the clutch. if the clutch being used is not stock, this problem may be avoided, but it's definitely inevitible if the clutch is stock.
With that being said, this is a GREAT flywheel. It's hecka durable. The shop tried machining the flywheel (instead of the bolts), but they couldn't make a scratch on the thing. And contrary to popular belief, 10.something lbs is not too light at all. I drive in traffic all the time, and it was no problem. Any heavier and I don't think I would've really noticed the weight savings. |

thanks for the comments. I wouldnt imagine you'd use a stock clutch if you were going with such a light flywheel anyway but i understand there are reasons why one would want to use a stock clutch. I think 275 is a steal for this item though. So the price remains
