Leaving your marks?
So, Im sure everyone who has a subie has already done this...but it was the first time I did an axis donut and it made me happy enough to jump around a bit.... If only I had got a vid!... next time tho!! heres my mark...
It started out like a normal donut, but then ended up with the center piveting(cant spell)...was sweet!!!

I was able to to do it in the parking lot across from Fudo in the rain. You just have to be in the right powerband and shift the weight hard when u first start out.

I've done an axis spin (where the car is actually spinning around a point midship of the car) when it had snowed/iced/snowed.

I did axis spins last night on wet pavement for the first time. Like others here I had only done it on snow before. I smoked the crap out of my tires while I was doing it. The video did not come out though.

RA Gears, and exedy clutch. No tranny work needed.
At least for a little bit. I do think I blew a power steering hose though. JP |

Got to see my old tire marks from a week ago. Snow tires shure leave marks easy. Seemed to have made many many many marks. Last edited by 02redwagone; 10-20-2006 at 06:25 AM. |
