Supposedly some site had it listed for $25 and sold them
I think I'm skipping the Genesis Mini and getting one of these things:

https://www.retrotink.com/

It's an upscaler that has Composite AV, S-Video, and Component RGB inputs so I can play all my original stuff on a modern TV without lag and other weirdness. I still have a huge library of retro games, so this makes more sense.

Neat. I bought some everdrives on black friday, one for my NES and one for my Genesis. Now I have to locate a good library of ROMS. I play on CRTs, I have a 20" Sony PVM and a 24" Sony FV300, but I'm curious to see how these upscalers look on a modern TV.

For extra retro nostalgia, I sit on the floor like I'm 8 when I'm playing Road Rash II. Sitting on the couch playing on my LCD TV might be more comfortable though.

Ordered a few things lately:

From Lands' End:
2 pairs of fine-vale corduroy tailored-fit trousers since my fat ass don't fit in my old pairs from a few years before - at 60% off I couldn't pass.
A flannel sportcoat for $68 on clearance and after additional off with coupon, normally $179, I think.
A new pair off water sneakers at 60% off since the smell nauseates me when I try to put my old pair on...

Bought an Olympus 45-150 2.8 Pro lens + 1.4x TC used from Fred Miranda

Ordered (not yet received) a 4 bike gravity stand from woot for $65 (50% off) + free shipping

I still have a 25" CRT kicking around, but it has Composite inputs only and my game room is the size of a walk-in closet, so I chose to put my old 42" 1080P plasma in there instead once we upgraded to 4K in the living room. An upscaler like this should do what I need it to do and then some. I've been using my PC and Retropie until I pick this up; it's just not the same.

Fine-vale corduroy is my go to in cold weather. Warmer than wool business slacks. I do have me some turtlenecks,

Thanks for the reminder.

I have 5 of dem for my Sonoma - Full-size spare on the same wheel, in the rotation. They are fantastic.

BTW, "self-shedding" means at 50 MPH, stones wedged in the tread come out.

Klipsch caught me with a "sale", though it was probably just their regular pricing and I overpaid. Bought a pair of their R-625FA tower speakers to add Atmos to my home theater setup.

I've been having trouble finding content to make use of it, but when I do...
:sploosh:

All TV and movie content should have Atmos sound. It's just amazing!
