First time on gravel (a few months ago)
Realized that the button to turn off traction control is also the "Fun" button. |

Thanks for the input about the percent on the tint guys I think I'll do 35% all around... As far as the type of film to use, what do you think is the darkest, the best and looks coolest? I'm thinking about going for Suntek CXP... but I'm also considering other films like 3M, Llumar or Huper Optik?
Recommendations? Thanks Much appreciated... |

I was probably taking that turn around 40. Stock wheels, no rear sway bar (yet) and on gravel for the first time... yeah I was taking a lot of risks that day! |

Looks good! I'm just wondering, why do a lot of people go with plasti dipping and not buy a new set of wheels?

It's simply a matter of costs. $50 for paint supplies, or ~$1000 for quality new wheels.
Personally, this plasti dip is my solution to a temporary problem. I'm saving up for wheels, but wanted the look right away. |

That makes sense. I was just wondering because I see a lot of guys doing it. And yes money is hard for a lot including me.

Plastidip is awesome. Its cheap, super easy, but best part is easily reversible!
Cost me about $30, took an hour or two, fixed small issues easy, can remove it whenever i want without chemicals or tools. |

Wow, that plastic dip is amazing. Looking for some input. I own a 2012 DMG Sport Limited with 50 / 20 tint and a 3M Paint Protection Bra (clear) and was wondering what a single black or anthracite stripe about 7 - 8 inch wide strip running from the front bumper, over the hood, roof and down the back bumper would look like. I realize this isn't a 300 hp WRX, so it may be over the top, but looking for some input from you guys. My thinking is that it may be able to be accomplished with the plastic dip, or have the guy that did my 3M bra do it in some type of vinyl.

Try it with plastidip & diy so its cheap. Cuz im sure youll hear s**t about it until you peel it off. Plastidip wont hurt paint or anything. just make sure you put enough coats so its thick and peels off easy. And protect rest of car. its a pita to remove if its in thin layers or overspray. |

Yea looks black in that one pic. Looks good black. I plastidipped the grey trim around the grill but left crossbars chrome because limited comes with so much of it.

Ya, that's the same thing I plan on doing. I've thought about plasti dipping all the chrome, but decided against it. Do you have a pic of your grill, myrt?
