Default Stock 03 WRX Help...

Hello all! I have a stock 2003 WRX with 200,000 miles and I'm ready to start building it up. The only issue is that it is becoming harder and harder to find good parts for a good price. I don't really know where to start building it up and I don't know where to look. Any good websites to shop on? Also any recommendations on the first things to do?

Please be more specific when you say "parts'. What kind of parts?

Plenty of places to get parts if you know what you are looking for.
If you can't afford or don't want new parts, then there is a section on NASIOC and other Subaru boards where members sell used parts.

Personally, I'm currently selling a bunch of stuff off of my 2002 WRX.
Check out the For Sale sections and maybe there is something there you are looking for

At 17 years and 200K miles, rather than building up you need to be tearing down..for a refresh!

All depends on the overall condition of the car.

A typical bug eye, if it's not rusted to death, needs $2k worth of work, just to be up to date on maintenance and not be a death trap. They've been cheap enough for a while that kids with no money buy, beat the crap out of them, do zero maintenance and when daddy OK's the trade up for a clapped out E36, they're off to the Buy-Here, Pay-Here.

While all that may be true, we have no idea of the condition of the car.

However, you have given the OP something to think about.
