I have considered selling my 06 a couple of times over the years, but I can never do it. I think I may end up being buried with it a few decades from now. Any future Subaru purchase will likely be an addition to my garage, rather than a replacement. This concept looks quite aggressive and modern. I am a fan of the new wheelbase and lowered physical stature (aerodynamics goooood).

Now as an independant model, this concept WRX is more aggressive than I was expecting. I'm very curious what a production version will end up looking like.

Considering how vanilla the Impreza is these days, let us hope the production version of the WRX and STI look a bit more like their concept versions.

.........

Fenders of a GT-R.. Roof of a 335i.. Front bumper of an Evo X..Tail lights from a CR-Z?.. Why must all these car companies just copy off of eachother... OVER..AND OVERR....did any of the 2007 and prior Suby's look like any other car? No.. And they LOOK like rally cars.. this is a blob. and When did dual exhaust become acceptable on 4 cylinder cars? With a dog brush for a diffusor. I'm "OK" with it...Just don't call it a WRX.. BRZ = Super sexy amazing, I'll give them that. What a great looking car.

And 20s??? really? I read someone relieved they're putting 20s on it, are you kidding me? Throw spinners on it while you're at it.. Give this car to Mr Jeremy Clarkson, no flame suit will save Subarus design team for what he would have to say! Haha. Whatever.. Love my 06 STi. Its just a shame they ruined a legend.

clarkson had always mercilessly mocked subaru designs....

also almost all of your analogies are wrong

I agree about the exhausts and 20s though

Did you see the brakes? I've served entire roasted pigs on smaller plates. They probably needed the $8500 BBS 20s to be able to fit the $10k brakes.

Relax, none of that will be in the production models.

didnt make any analogies, but subaru copied those design styles, i'm guessing at the tail lights.. actually the nissan jukes tails are similar.

and jeremy clarkson LOVED the 22b AND the 2004/05 sti and even prefered it over the Evo

Finally, Subaru is headed in the right direction. You are a niche market company. Stay that way. Your vehicles appeal to the members of this forum because we are your market. Keep making widebody turbo awd cars and we will keep buying them.

I like the concept of the concept. Ynawwadimean?

Looks like may better better highway MPG with that profile. Not crazy about the wheel choice but I'm sure that'll change anyway.

It kind of looks like they want to start focusing on road cars rather than rally cars. Who knows. Concept cars are always lower and have bigger wheels than what will ever make it to production. Lets hope it's a rally car when they are done with it! Because they already have their road car. The Brz

A few things I'm thinking about in my decision are:

1. Will this car have a wayyy nicer interior since the current interior is dated?
2. Is this new WRX gonna have more hp than the current STi?
3. How long will it be until they release a NEW STi version of this WRX?
4. Am I going to be disappointed in a year when this comes out and I don't have it?
Its orange

Orange

Physiological Effect: Orange has proven to be a stimulus of the sexual organs. Also, it can be benefitial to the digestive system and can strengthen the immune system.

Psychological Effect: Orange has shown to have only positive affects on your emotional state. This color relieves feelings of self-pity, lack of self-worth and unwillingness to forgive. Orange opens your emotions and is a terrific antidepressant.
