Default 04 sti wheel bearings into 03 wrx

does anyone know if you can swap an 04 sti's front and rear wheel bearings in an 03 wrx? and if so, would it be considered an upgrade? im planning to do the brembo conversion soon, and was thinking about swapping out the bearings with the 04 sti ones at the same time. i tried searching and didnt find much. any help/comments are welcome!

The upgrade would be 05+ STi knuckles/hubs. (aka 5x114.3 hubs)

THe 5x100 stuff is all the same.

same, but swapping wheelbearings is not really going to work. They typically don't survive the pressing out process and doing all that work for already worn bearings doesn't make a lot of sense. IMO

Yup, new stock parts are your best bang for the buck. $900 bill for the 6gun front hubs. Only worth wild if you track your car.

Swapping to STi rear hubs (which are better) requires many changes including axles, knuckles, brakes.

Not sure how much larger the 04 STi front bearing is vs the WRX.

No, it's not - wrong.

The rear wheel bearings on the STi are NOT THE SAME As other Impreza

Yes even the 2004 STi

Rear STi wheel bearing and.... rear bearing seals are NOT THE SAME as any other Impreza

to the OP

As suggested - just replace them with Stock OE parts
Have someone with experience repack the new bearings and do the install

these suckers can blow again if not installed correctly.
