Linky The other one is the road out to Lake Arivaca. It is west of I-19. I don't have pictures, but once late spring/summer comes around. Highway 191 (former 666) to Alpine is a great run. Oh, and Kitt Peak. Are you in Tucson or Phoenix..or Flagstaff? Phoenix has access to more roads the Tucson. |

Piuma rd is the shianit. I used to live in thousand oaks which is one side of the road, now im in santa monica and I drive that road everyday. Las Flores cyn is pretty fun too ( that is the last section of the canyon that was put into use because a storm made the road collapse on the lower part of piuma. My average speed on that road is 80mph. Saw some subies running it not too long ago. We should set up a meet for LA and Ventura county subies then go run the canyons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Umm no way your avg. speed is 80mph that mean at some points of the road you hit 120mph because a lot of the turns on piuma are slow 2nd gear turns.
Are you sure you dont mean top speed 80mph? time yourself one time top to bottom then look at how many miles the road is and you would be suprised to see you avg speed is probably somewhere aroung 50-55. and if your avg speed is infact 80 you should not be driving at all. You will kill yourself and maybe someone else. ~Leor |

you can ask my navigator, of course for the turns im not slidding around at 80, but as soon as im out of the apex its 70-80 untill the next series of twisties. If im just cruising and relaxing then im usually around 50-60, pushing it and actually driving I stay around 70-80.

SORRY FOR NOT BEING TECHNICAL. I average 80mph. But my overall average fropm start to finish is not 80, 90% of the time I am 70-80, but whatever, we should all still meet up and run that road.

Might wanna have people type in where it is to start so we don't get so many "Where is that road" posts. Sweet roads too.
