FT:Aspen White Wingless trunk and Dspecs
I have an Aspen White wingless trunk on my car and am willing to let it go for wrx winged trunk plus cash on your end. My trunk is mint and so yours must be too. Mine is the 06 trunk with the emblem in the middle and that is what I would prefer to receive. Im in Queens, NY.
Also have a set of Dspecs on my car with 9k on them. They come with scooby 921 spacers and rear extended adjusters. Want to trade for 06 wrx fitment struts that are in good condition plus 350. Let me know.

^ Funny as it sounds considering you pay for a spoiler from the dealer.....it's supply and demand. People prefer the wingless lids...want them...and there are less. Not that hard to comprehend.

not really, it's called common sense. supply and demand my ass. there are plenty of wingless trunks out there. the OP is just retarded and wants to make an extra buck for nothing. so you, dick, are the moron. i've had about 5 different trunks, so don't tell me about supply and demand or any of that crap. |

Ha thanks Dave and the rest of you. Skunk what you dont seem to understand is that I LOVE my wingless trunk on my car. For me to part with it it would have to be worth my while. Im not trying to be greedy, Im not trying to be a moron. If someone wants to pay me to swap trunks I'll do it, if not then hey Im still flying wingless. If you really have some place to get any trunk you want then hey spread the wealth, because I can tell you it was difficult to get this trunk and I hate the idea of taking a wing off of a wrx trunk and filling/painting it. At the very least thanks for the bumpage everyone.

^^you're right, if you can get some poor sap to throw money on top of their winged trunk, then it's your gain, but i think it's ridiculous because a winged trunk is way more expensive. my opinion was stated, and most of the clowns in here can't comprehend that a wingless trunk should not be the higher valued trunk in this situation. that was the point i was trying to get across.
supply and demand is one thing with gas prices, but as i said, i've been through 6 trunks, and the supply is there. i've had many different trunks, OEM wingless twice, wrx, wingless CF, and now i have my STi trunk for the winter and a CF trunk w/ a wing for summer. So to say that the supply of these trunks doesn't exist in tri-state, while i've been through six trunks in 2 years is BS. Quote:
riceh8r- do you guys go in the tri-state trunk swap thread? there's one in there right now but the kid wants an STi trunk for trade, i would ask for money on top if i were trading him my STi trunk. that one is aspen, but there are more wingless trunks in there. i scan that thread a lot, and there's a supply, some colors more than others, but they're there. the last post in that thread right now, the kid is trying to trade a steel gray wingless for a wrx. here's the link, two wingless on this page as we speak. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...5#post24567365 Last edited by FreNetiC STi; 11-23-2008 at 11:10 AM. |

Dude, shut the hell up already. A winged trunk is a dime a dozen. What don't you understand? Sure, wingless trunks come around...it's not a ****ing unicorn, you jackass. Fact is that they are rarer than winged ones. If you don't want to pay, don't. If you don't want to trade, don't. Someone will. If they don't, he's made it clear that he is content with keeping it. Seriously, I can't wait until you post a for sale/trade thread and someone jacks it up.

^^why are you getting so worked up? you're ridiculous. i just showed you a thread with two wingless trunks that are currently for trade, and you're still trying to argue with me? what the hell is the matter with you? did you not read my post before? i've proven to you that they're out there, so shut up, and stop arguing.
all i did was post my opinion and you threw a childish hissy fit. i wasn't trying to jack his thread, it was an opinion |

I'm arguing with you because since your first post in this thread, you've done nothing but ruin it with useless info. It's up to the buyer and seller to determine what it's worth. If you're not interested, keep your opinion to yourself.
Do you realize that in this situation, wingless trunks are STILL rarer. Like I said, of course they exist. A winged trunk is NOT more expensive if less people are WILLING to pay for it. I wouldn't give you more than 50 bucks for a winged trunk. I would pay more for a wingless one. You can always drill new holes.....go ahead and fill yours. I want Mulder to delete all of your posts and mine. You just don't get it. Go to your local university...err...umm highschool and take an entry level economy class. |

^^your insults are infantile. i understand what you're saying, supply and demand, you've been saying it forever, but it doesn't change the difference in value between the two trunks. if someone is willing to pay this guy for his wingless trunk with a trade, then he wins. i stated that above, that's obvious. i would be more than happy to have mulder delete these posts and clean up his thread.

Listen, I'm not trying to insult you. Something is only worth what the buyer is willing to pay. Are 08 STi's worth 38k? 29k? It's up to you as a buyer what it's worth to YOU. |

agreed. maybe i should have stated that i was referring to the OEM value of the trunks in regards to worth. therefore, i think that it's ridiculous that supply and demand (as you stated) has valued a wingless trunk above a winged trunk on this forum. the arguing is done. i apologize to the guy who started this thread, if i didn't post your thread wouldn't have been cluttered.
the second time i got a wingless lid, i bought a WRX trunk from a friend for $100, and then traded it for a wingless. so i guess i ended up paying for a wingless in the end huh? |

I found a wingless trunk and traded it for a WRX winged trunk and considered myself lucky since the guy had just bought the car, that he didnt ask for cash on top. I feel like I made away with a steal.
If I were to trade my AW wingless now, I'd definentely ask for cash on top. |
