just a disclaimer before i get into this post, this was my first time attempting to buy a part through nasioc, and i know i should have taken more precautions.
i had commented on a thread posted about a accessport for a 02-05 wrx. the user kechi messaged me saying it is for sale and gave me his phone number. i texted him on there and said i had noticed it wasn’t the same user that posted the original thread and he said it was his son’s account and even sent me pictures of a ap3-sub-001. i should have stopped there, but he convinced me to send him 520 for it shipped which was a great deal so i went for it. i did it through zelle and it most definitely did go through (according to 2 disputes i filed) but he claimed he didn’t get the money. he kept telling me to talk to my bank and saying nothing would happen if i didn’t get mad at them. he even sent me a seemingly fake zelle statement page and said there was no way he got the money.
don’t attempt to buy anything from this guy. now i’m out 520 dollars that i could have put towards other parts.
