The Limited package is quite fairly priced at $2500 when compared to other brands... the problem is the WRX is NOT a 30k car w/ its current interior/refinement. The STI gets the grace for all out performance but even it could/should drop a couple of grand.

That's very true. My '06 WRX Limited wagon, while a great car, has waaaay too much road and tire noise.

I'm really hoping this is addressed with the '08 model. In fact I'm hoping that the WRX Limited and STI Limited get even more noise suppression than the non-Limited models. People buying "Limiteds" are looking for extra refinement, and more sound deadening would go a long way in terms of ownership pleasure.

I'd like to see the 2.5i become a 2.0i or 2.2i and drop just a hair in price. I'd like to see the WRX start at or very near $20k and the STI inch under $30k.

I'd like to see the 5-passenger Tribeca go away and the 7-passenger models allign themselves at the 5-pass price point.

I'd like to see the Legacy base go away and make the SE the entry level (and drop the SE moniker). Its price point is VERY appropriate but it isn't marketed worth a damn. I'd like to see the delta between Legacy models shrink to keep a Navi GT Ltd priced at $30k.

On all models I'd like to see satellite radio standard and memory seats are a must in today's market. VDC and 5AT's should be standard (dummy down as necessary to keep pricing appropriate). I'd like to see less port options and more push toward dealer installed (ala Acura).

I'd like to see power bump in all turbo models, the n/a's (both H4 and H6) are fine.

I'd rather to see an "A-SPEC" type package than keep offering new trim levels for performance/handling. Offer a spec.b dealer installed suspension/trim package for the Legacy/OB rather than have to order a whole model... same goes for STI packages for Forester/Impreza/etc.

I'll shut up now.

I don't want this. I want the option of having having all of the bells and whistles / fit and finish in an Impreza. Everything being equal... I'd prefer a smaller car over a larger one.

well ill give it a go

1. Less difference between JDM and USDM models... i would think it would be cheaper to just make it 1 way... even if its just basic BS like the red hazard button i paid 30 bucks for

2. STi needs to come with better seats, or the JDM seats at least... the people who buy sti's arent looking for comfy seats... we want badass seats to match a badass car... its gonna cost me a couple grand to get somthing to replace the stock pieces of crap.... im 6'1" 215lbs and there still way to loose for me.. people say they were made for "fat americans" , but im not a small person and if there not holding me, there not holding most people

3. impreza STi coupe!!!!! once again, people are buying it for 1 reason... and its not to tote the kids around... i know 4 people that didnt buy the sti only because it was a 4 door and not a 2 door

there is currently no badass tuner AWD coupes being sold in america... the GT-R is releasing in 08 but thats out of the price range... JUST DO IT!

4. better stock stereo... my sti didnt come with a stereo, but my wrx stereo you couldnt hear with the windows down on full blast

5. LESS UNDERSTEER!!!!!

other than that i love my car and subaru the same,

I would love to see a 200hp 2.5i performance car. I would like to see the legacy get a power bump, and get alot nicer inside. Get bluetooth, ipod connection, and memory seats. Have the impreza be lighter with optional performance parts like suspension, wheels and tires, a 6 speed trany.

I think if a Legacy STI (or Tuned by STI) were to be brought here, you'd need to at least bring it up to 300hp (with all the suspension goodies).

Sorry, I disagree.

The STi should be available de-contented (ala SpecC or a TR)

The BS can all be added back in.

Hell make a roof scoop standard with the AC being optional.

AC was optional back in the 80's so why not?

bring back the recently-departed baja, but offer an sti version as well. and offer the locking hard bed cover on ALL MODELS.

a .50 cal turret option wouldn't hurt, either.

I've been meaning to throw this in here:

*Better use of interior volume on ALL models. Mazda 6 makes the Legacy look like a Dodge Caliber when it comes to legroom.
*Available HID's, memory seats, NAV, better lumbar support, better seats like the Mazda 3.
*Better MPG's - work on those gear ratios. The battle of the MPG's is back, especially with the cost of fuel.
*LED's - Thank you... as seen on the hatch Now bring it on the Legacy, Forester and B9; and of course, future models

Oh I wouldn't care if there is a spec.C just as long as I can get a quiet, fully loaded STi

+1 to memory seat for the driver at least.
How did I not think of this one?
My GF and I share our 06 Outback 2.5i Wagon. She is 5'2", I am 6'. The power seat is nice, but time consuming when she says, "will you drive?". A manual seat would adjust faster than the power, but I like the power. Please bring a memory driver seat.

speaking a little bit for the NA folks here:

bring back the RS model with the following equipments!

1. same 4.11 final drive as the GC RS.
2. same r160 rear LSD as the GC Rs
3. EJ25 engine with the DOHC AVCS heads from WRX or LGT!!!!!
(make it around 200 HP with a 7000rpm readline and 30MPG to compete with Civic SI)
4. 6 spd manual and 5EAT with manual function would be nice.
5. make the new impreza light like the old GC

and make HID and WRX 17" wheels and 4pot breaks optional (ie, in a package! )

If all of the above have come true it'll be my next car~

I'll 2nd that. Honda in the UK has their Civic Type-R hatch thats coming out soon: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1089678

If Subaru could get it down to that size as a "true" hatch... with AWD and WRX specs (never mind STi specs)... hello!

The motorsports enthusiasts looking for light weight cars would love to see this. (Never mind using the hatch in that sport called "World Rally Championship".)

I would like to see headlights that come on automatically when its dark. Or atleast something to make it easier to tell they are on so I dont get another ticket. The bright displays make it seem as if they are already on. That little green indicator is just obvious compared to the old way of I cant see my speedometer until I turn the lights on.

They added a "DRL" light on the dash when the DRLs are on for 07

Or just adjust the brightness knob down 1 click from full

I'd trade my WRX in for one today if it were here. Ditto with the Forester STI.
Subaru is moving upscale so I'd also be interested in a competitor to the G35 coupe.

Also a Yaris and Fit competitor would be a great addition to the lineup but it should have a performance edge to it.

What I think should happen is that the "Limited" versions of both the WRX and STI should get enough sound deadening (to kill the excessive road noise) so that they rival the quietness found in the Legacy GT.

I aggree with having something "akin to the Spec-C RA, or even something like the S204", basically staying closer to the JDM models. The STi limited version starts to do that, but just focuses on "luxury features" and not things like performance or suspension upgrades, which I think a lot of us would like to see.

Exactly. I'd rather have bought a Subaru, but when I compared the performance of the STI to the Evo, while close, the Subie just lost out...

Being an RS owner myself, i totally agree. Sometimes my RS just doesnt have enough acceleration. Packages like the one mentioned above would be great. Maby more accessories?

I am not too convinced that the Limited package that comes with the Impreza, passes inspection at the $2500 pricepoint. All you get are heated seats, plasticky leather and a sliver of open space on the roof that has been termed a "moonroof".
