just wanted to know if any miami subie owners wanna have a car meet in the
weston commons plaza at the starbucks in weston..on wednesday

Weston Commons is right across the street from Rick Case Honda. Exit I-75 Griffin West and then make a right at the Griffin and Weston Rd. Intersection then proceed to the left lane and you'll see Starbucks.

Are you even part of SE? MAIC is Mid-Atlantic isnt it??? I see you just moved to South Carolina, but that is REALLY FAR from Miami, FL!!! Are you planning on being at Wednesday's meet?

Wheres your car at?

Mine is at Bird Road Subaru getting an STi Shortblock...it should be ready by friday, but I'll still go to the meet in my 16 second civic. It does neutral bomb burn outs!

EDIT: it would be funny if we all go in dif cars, because everyone's subaru is in the shop

hahaha yeaaa mine is at the lehman cuz everytime i downshift on 4th and 5th gears, they grind, i believe its the synchros, and they should be under warranty, since that's what i have been reading through forums and what a friend of mine, a mechanic told me and what they also told me down at Bird Road. So we'll see, hopefully they wont try to shaft me... I hate to take my car to the dealership!!

You whippersnappers have it so easy.. what with your factory OEM turbos, and warranty repairs! Why, in my day, I had to install my OWN turbo kit, uphill, both ways... BAREFOOT! Then PRAY that nothing major blew up from running boost on an N/A motor. STi? BAH! That was something they only had in Japan so we would put the stickers on our cars and pretend!

Or import wrecked 1/2 cuts and make our own

I actually just moved to North Carolina and was in Gainesville, FL when I made that post, so yes, I could have gone to the meet if I didn't leave this morning. Sorry, I'm used to the SCIC. Different forum.
