![]() My power door locks no longer work. I noticed the fuse blew when working on the car, (just had my alternator replaced) However, after replacing it, I noticed only my driver's side door locks now. All of the other doors are stuck in the unlock position. When trying to lock them manually, they all seem to be getting stuck on something and refuse to lock. What should I look at?

![]() When you say, the locks don't move when trying to lock them manually, and by that mean that actually pushing down on the locking mechanism; and not the electric lock switch; then I would guess that one of the electric lock switches is stuck in the 'unlock' position somehow and isn't turning off. The outside door lock switch could be at fault along with the inside switches. I can't explain why the driver's door is working though.

![]() 2002 Forester: In winter, when moisture has penetrated door cavities, my electric door lock switch will toggle "on & off" by itself, repeatedly, endlessly. Pushing the any electric door lock switch does not stop it from functioning on its own. I discovered that depressing the Window Lock Switch affected the problem partially. However it continues. If I close the doors, they will lock by themselves, and a key is required to unlock. Even then the door lock switch continues to toggle on-off, locking & unlocking all the doors. ANY BODY HAVE ANY IDEAS? Need help! 715-762-8090

![]() Check the switch in the driver's door that works with the key. It may have dirty contacts. If that isn't a problem check the switches in thr door.
