So yeah like the title says. I have a map for all the mods I am doing later today but the original car was an 04. Can I use it anyway?

If no why not?

I am 99% sure you can use it. May I ask what you are using to flash the map on the car?

um just curious
was the map made at your elevation? around where you live?
and are the mods the exact same?

even saying that, you do realize that every single car is different and will react differently to maps/mods right?
one map may work on one car just perfect, and another car at the same place, same year, same model may not work as well

if it were me, i would get a tune for my car
but thats just my .02

+1. Get a tune for YOUR car, not someone elses car. Every car is different so your car may run with someone elses map but it wont be ideal.

At first glance, I thought maybe the open/closed loop bullsh** on the 04's might be an issue, because your car doesnt have open/closed loop fueling.

IMO, your car might run alright with the map, but a good tune will make your car run harder and stronger than any OTS map.

Go to Dave Brown at MSPT on long island if your short on cash. $150 gets you a custom road tune.
