They know nothing. Actually, Subaru dealers in the states in particular don’t know much of what’s going on with new models at all. The average Joe is more informed than almost every person in the dealership about upcoming models and ETA’s
GR Corolla will be a fun car. I have one allocated @ msrp on order, but after seeing the CTR leaked pictures I might end up giving my father the GR allocation and taking the CTR. On a good note, Someone told me that *they* heard from someone @ Toyota product planning dep that the suggested MSRP for a base Corolla GR before options will be (before destination) $32,399-32,999
This undercuts all the estimates I’ve seen from others who are saying it’s going to be starting close to 40. When I heard the goal is close to 30, I thought wow. 300HP , rally roots, and about 33K OTD. It’s like 04’ all over again
Take that with a grain of salt, but that is an absolute bargain.
