Default Conversion to rear Disc Brakes on an Impreza

Anyone done a disc conversion to a 2002 Impreza Outback to get rid of those crappy drum brakes?

This is for the GF body, but all the parts swap. I have GDA rear brakes on my GF6.

Please translate to someone who is just getting into the Subaru scene. Sorry I am an idiot when it comes to the tech terms.

Begging for translation!

np.. I forgot your linky

Rear brakes are compatible on virtually all AWD Subaru models. As long as the donor vehicle had ABS, the parts will bolt up to your car. Exception to this rule is the STi. Just get a complete rear brake setup from a WRX, Legacy or whatever, and bolt it all up. The tutorial linked gives you about all the info you need, with two provisos:
1. Legacy e-brake cables are waaay too long.
2. You don't really have to take the front seats out to get to the e-brake lever mech inside the car.

BTW, you'd get more responses to this in the brakes & suspension forum. Most the threads here are on engine/tranny swaps... maybe a mod would move it for you.
