ya it sucks.
ive been in contact w/ the company for a few days.
they say that if im still the high bidder at the end w/o the reserve being met, we can work something out. but we'll see how that goes.

Go to www.performancemotorcar.com - I bought my Subaru from them and did their computer network. They also sell used exotics. Ask for Butch. They're in New Orleans and should be able to help you find what you're looking for at a decent price.

If you want a smooth exotic take 2 exlax and eat Tia food.
Buy an Sti unless your cool with $400.00 oil changes.
If you do buy it, can I come over and wash it and makes engine noises?

Advice? Go drive some more cars if you're in the market for a car of this caliber or dollar level. You owe it to yourself be thoroughly researched as well. Make sure at least Ferrari of Houston can service it if there isn't a Lambo specific dealer there yet. Think maintenance costs, or talk to other Lambo owners to see if any of it is possible or worth doing on your own (If you're so inclined). 12 cylinder maintenance can be very $$$.

As for driving, the Diablo and a Viper are going to be similar in feel (power, accel, cruise), with the Lambo's footwell being even more cramped than the Viper's. But at least the Lambo has a dead pedal... well sort of. Visibility is better in the Viper. Parts are cheaper in the Viper. Pimp-ness... Lambo wins. On-track... no idea, but I don't see a whole lot of Lambo guys even at the track days for italian cars. I'm sure there are a few guys who track them, but if you like driving at the track check with other owners to see if the car can take it and what to expect.

You could check out the F355, but it'll feel rather sedate in terms of overall thrust compared to the other two cars you've seen/driven. However, it is much more liveable that either a Viper or Diablo.

I'd say just make sure of the history of the Diablo and if you get it, remember to pull over every WRX you see and give them a RIDE! ^_^

p.s. There are decent F355s available for under 75K out there...

The difference in price there could be maintenance for a little while or even a fastAr car...like and SRT-4

Lottery winner?? Columbian Drug Lord?? Rap Star I've never heard of??

Good luck though. I'd second the suggestion that you at least go check out other exotics. The only Lambo I ever sat in (at a car show) was ridiculously uncomfortable and your feet were squeezed over into a cramped foot-well.
This was the old-school ones.. the Countach. I have no idea what the later ones are like.
