remove them and you can lift the top half up; which makes it a hellova lot easier to remove the ring.

as stated earlier, the wire is reallllly short, and wrapped around another. its the green pair of wires, and after you remove the bulb from the ring, you can untangle it from the other connector, makes it a little easier to get around.

Hope this helps

Great write up. Just replaced my key ring with the LED by pro driven auto. Matches my gauges perfectly. To 93V i noticed I had to really make sure the bulb was completely seated in order for it to light up. (Snaps down alot further than I initially thought.)

I have the stock one still in. When does yours light up? All the time?

I opened up my 04 WRX steering column and found the bulb. It is TINY.

Autozone, O’Riley, Checker, etc don't have bulbs that small. I was told to check with Radio Shack and maybe NAPA.

I’d like to figure out the bulb size/number... then I can ask for it more accurately in person, or just find a new one online. Maybe Subaru dealership parts departments could look it up...

Its pretty tiny so depending on what color you're looking for you could probably just color the bulb with a sharpie.

Does anyone have an updated link to where to buy those lamp covers/bulbs needed? They don't have them on the site where the original links point to.

It's a 74 led. Found at suberbrightleds for like 2-3 bucks.

Have had it in my STi for ever, no issues.
