Submerk has one for sale.

it's plenty fast.

I have a 92 Turbo, 3inch exhaust. and an apexi intake, it hauls..I mean it really hauls!!!....I can't give you the 1/4 mile times. there are a few web pages that some people have their estimated HP. it has the big sway bar in the rear, with a good amount of oversteer in the corners (Jamie, any comments) great brakes. and no, it's not a high maintenance car. I've had a lot of cars. this one is my Favorite. there are a a lot of Hi performance parts around. go back a few months on the Legacy message board and check any of my posts sometimes I get pretty outspoken about the car.

welcome aboard.

if yer ever in the states call

Miller

Try to find an intercooler and put a turbo boost control on it and you could boost your car to 200hp !!!

Exclamation Looking to buy a Legacy??need some advice

Hi, I'm new to this message board and well I'm considering buying a '92-'94 Legacy Turbo, but before I do I just wanted to get some info on this type of car. Well first of all, is it easy to modify these cars, like a performance exhaust, intake, turbo mods, etc and is it expensive to do? Are these cars fast, like does anybody know what its 0-60mph time is and 1/4mile? Also from what I hear these cars are very reliable, is this true? When I do decide to buy one, what kind of things should I look for? And is it a high maintenance car and are parts expensive?
If theres anything else you'd like to tell me about this car, don't hesitate to tell. Thanks for the help everybody, I appreciate it.

Miller's right... the car has plenty of power and has crazy oversteer... he gets a little too sideways once in a while , but the car drives great!!! much more power than my 99GT...

good luck to you!!

You can go here: http://www.xmission.com/~dac/
to read some articles about the Legacy Turbo when it was first released. I can tell you that the spec's don't look real impressive on paper but a test drive will prove otherwise :-) I have owned my 5-speed '92 Turbo for only 8 months or so, I purchased it with 130,000 miles on the clock for $5500 and have nothing bad to say about it. It still has the original turbo, struts (til spring) and what looks like the original exhaust! As long as it has been maintained you shouldn't have any worries. Unfortunatly it seems that more came with the automatic, the 5-speed models may be harder to locate but well worth the trouble as they come with the same 'pull' style hydraulic clutch as the 'WRX'. Good luck!

You might want to check the old subaru adventure forum. There was a guru called Jeffrey who is very knowledgable on subaru. Here is one message he talked about a 94 Legacy L. http://www.subaruadventures.com/mess...ages/2129.html

I picked up my '88 XT6 for $1000 back in Dec and it only had 59,000 original miles on it.

It's a great car. Check the yahoo classifieds for some decent cars.
