Passenger side headlight lowbeam+ highbeam not working
2012 wrx
I checked my ballasts, swapped bulbs, bought a new wiring harness, it all works. But for some reason the right side never turns on, just the yellow light. Sometimes the lowbeam will turn on while im driving and it blinks on and off constantly. Could this be a fuse issue? Im out of ideas as to how approach this. Is there a wiring schematic for the headlights? Im wondering if the power source to the high/low beam is shared and it may be loose, cut or somehow damaged. Help!

I forgot to add i have retrofit hids H11. Like i mentioned above, both bulbs, ballasts were swapped, harness was replaced, i checked fuses none appeared to be damaged but i could be wrong.
Its just confusing because sometime it turns on and is lit very very dim and blinks |

Check fuses with an ohm meter. I never used a harness with the 2 kits I used.
Our cars used switched grounds. Check relays. |

Yea i just found out from the manual that fuse #18 controls the passenger headlight, I have not checked that yet. I will also check out the relay and update this post. Thank you for the suggestions! |

UPDATE- i did some fuse swapping and discovered that one of my fuses wasnt working. Replaced that and now i got both high beams working.
The passenger low beam still does not work though. Could this be the relay? I accidently pulled it with the battery hooked and blew my main fuse ( lol newb move, luckily i had a spare) |

Try reversing the polarity for the passenger side low beam.

Correction: low beam turned off on me again but i finally solved the issue for sure!! I thought id post this for anyone who might encounter this issue
So i missed one thing: each ballast has a pigtail connector which connects to the harness. I swapped those with each other and sure enough, the other side didnt work once i swapped them. $15 for a set on the retrofit source |
