Is your car prewired for heaters? Look under the seats or carpet for the blue harness, or in the center console where the switches would go. I'm not aware of anyone adding this wiring into a car, it's part of the chassis harness.

I have 08 STI base. There are no additional plugs for heating elements under the seats, and there is no heater switch button on center console. That's why I am getting 13 limited console with the switch, but need to figure it out how to wire it OEM style.

Right, I understand you don't have the switches, if the wiring isn't there then you're making your own setup. See above in this thread a few ideas about the pinouts, all you really need is 12v and ground and two additional wires to each seat, the system doesn't work with anything else in the car. If you can grab the wiring from the seats to the switches that will save you having to rig up plugs.

14 STI heated seats -> 08 STI base
I have 08 STI base with 14 STI heated seats installed. Additionally, I procured the following:
- OEM heater switches for center console with cutoff harness - OEM heated seat plugs with cutoff harness What additional pieces do I need to obtain to properly wire 14 STI heated seat in 08 STI. From the diagram I found for Impreza, one may also need a relay. Can someone post a heated seat wiring diagram for 11-14 STI, as the diagram below does not describe the STI seats. Essentially, the colors of the seat plug wires do not match the colors on the diagram. Each STI seat plug has four wires. The console switch has 12 wires. Stopped by in a dealership, the service advisor was cool and got me a diagram for the heated seats is 13 STI limited, which makes sense as number of wires in the diagram matches the actual plugs I got from a wreck.
Since I am not strong in EE, I need someone to help me decipher the diagram. - what are 9 10 11 12 19 20 boxes in the diagram - where is the location of B225 relay, is it present in 08 STI? Or do I need to buy one. -where do I look up color code abbreviation for Subaru |

After reviewing the above diagram one more time I realized that one simply needs to connect same color wires of the seat heater harness with the same color wires coming out of console switch (8 wires).
To get power to heaters I connected black ground and blue/red hot wire at the power outlet as suggested in earlier posts. That's pretty much it. Here is the harness I assembled. Note that the remaining violet and black/white wires were unused (you would need to connect them to illumination light circuit to get red glow of the switch which I might do in the future). Everything is awesome. |

Anyone use this switch? It’s from a 2019 sti. I purchased a set of corbeau seats with heaters and trying to make it work. This is the connection to the stock switch. Does anyone know what the wires are for? Purple is for lighting right? Any help would be appreciated. |

If you get a wiring diagram for 2019 seats, I should be able to help you.
You can get it from Subaru FSM or parts guy at your dealership. |

Legacy heat seat into a 06 WRX
I just gutted the harness from a Legacy with the proper style switches. Pain in the ass. The heated seat wiring was all taped and wrapped up with the air bag wiring. I had to undo most of the wiring lum. After pulling the carpet.

Question about where the blue
Wire stops in the passenger compartment. Is it wired into the chassis plug? On the 2006 WRX.
