Neither are the Cardinals for that matter. I don't think the Cardinals are nearly as good as their record suggests, and Kolb won't be leading them to the promised land anytime soon.

You can call that an upset if you want, but I think the Rams are vastly underrated, especially now since they have a real coach. If they could just put a few pieces together on offense and actually obtain a top tier WR for Bradford to throw to - I think they could be a contender. The defense looked stout last night, anyway and that wasn't a fluke.

(Disclaimer: I am by no means a Rams fan, but Fisher is doing it right....)

I'm trying to figure out how the Cardinals pulled 4 major upsets 4 weeks in a row.

Amendola out again is going to kill any chance they may or may not have had.

That catch early in the game was just plain sick...guy has serious talent, just can't stay healthy...

Because their defense is one of the (if not the ) best in the league. Kolb also showed a lot more "I'm actually a professional quarterback" in their wins, too. Better pocket eyes, getting rid of the ball, etc. STL just freaking pounded him every down much better than their earlier games.

Outrageous claim: overall, the NFC West has the best defense in the league.

They don't play Dallas, huh? Too bad. They'd flat out embarrass Romo and his goon squad of wannabe "receivers."

You see the thing is, STL is one of the worst teams in the league and to get embarrassed like that is a bit more than an upset.

My point is the Cardinals ship sailed, they got lucky in their first 4 games and will continue to lose the rest of the season. I would be surprised if they end up .500.

I felt bad for him last night, he really tried to hang in there behind that O line.

Yeah.

You make it painfully obvious that you haven't watched a single one of their games up until last night. But that's okay.

The Rams would stomp a hole through your beloved Cowboys.

They are a completely different team than they have been the past 6-7 years. Bradford is still a weak spot but the rest of the team, especially their defense is pretty solid.

I don't think that's outrageous at all.

In fact I just looked up the D stats on ESPN and as far as least points scored against in the NFL its:

2. Seattle
3. Arizona
4. SF
8. St. Louis

I'd say that's pretty damn good haha.

Not bad. Peterson's toe-touch interception in the endzone was more impressive, IMHO.

**** that noise. Peterson looked like the intended receiver from before the ball was even thrown, he should have caught it.

That Amendola catch was superb and one of the best of the season. I still really like the Nate Washington catch from two weeks ago...

We were at a bar watching the game. The entire place went SILENT after the Williams hit. God, that was brutal.

Uh. I hate to break it to you, but Peterson's a cornerback. His job is to defend passes, not get his body into position to make catches inches within the endzone. I don't mean to play down Amendola's catch, but Peterson's was ridiculous.

Post 5726 is when it happened. Everybody at once just chimed in on it. The way he was immediately out and fell, it really looked like he died.

As a fan of both teams therefore somewhat unbiased, Bradford is a bad quarterback and threw it right to him. It was good nonetheless but I was more impressed by Amendola's one armed grab.
