On the BRZ I took off my StarSpecs and mounted some all-seasons on as intermediate tires before the studs go on.
Aligned the toe since I had maxed out my front camber with some crash bolts. Got -1 degree from having zero. Not bad for spending $8.
Had Katelyn customize my BIU settings (Thanks!)
All in an evening's work.

Tire change over***8230;so I can get out of my driveway. A good six inches on the ground up here on the hillside and it is still coming down.

Earliest I've seen it snow this much in the 15 or so years I've been here.

Powertrain Warranty don't fail me!

I bought Rory's snow tires for the BRZ. 16" steelies wrapped in 205/55R16 studded Hankooks. Now I just gotta get the car this week, get the autostart installed this weekend or so and clear bra when I get paid on the 15th and I'll be good to go!

lol No turbo for me! At least not as a main engine. On a secondary engine just for tuning fun I'd give it a try. Already talking with a shop to see what can fit in there. I'm thinking a rebuilt EJ20, personally, just to go with something tried and true. The issue is weight. It's already heavier up front at 53%. All the plumbing for turbo and such won't help the case concerning weight.

This is my benchmark.

Sadly I worked on the Forester on Saturday to get the spool out. Went very smoothly thanks to two things, one a lift (thanks Seth) and two, Mike for being Captain Wrench-a-lot!

Drove all three cars today - LOL.

Tomorrow will be a busy day for the WRX...need to install a new oil pump - the 11mm one is not working for me...The oil pressure has started hanging out at 15psi down from 20-25 at idle which is not good. I'm hoping to avoid teardown...but I guess we'll see. Dale did a leakdown on Monday and found it totally normal - also replaced the spark plugs which were of course fuel fouled because the car has been running wickedly rich at idle.

Also going to try and swap the stock injectors in to see if that is the mysterious problem that has been holding the car back even though they tested out fine 3 weeks ago. May also test fuel pressure to rule out the pump and FPR. And we're probably going to check for vacuum leaks...for the third time.
